In my childhood, I felt the distance between my hometown and Tokyo was quite farther than that of Tokyo and New York.
Nowadays, I feel the distance between me and the person sitting near in my office is quite farther than that of me and a friend connected with Facebook / twitter / MSN even in opposite side of the globe.
It's amazing....
